The Verifier API helps apps and businesses in Ethiopia automatically verify Telebirr and Bank payments. Most Ethiopian digital products still rely on users sending screenshots or reference numbers, then someone manually checks the payment. That is slow, error-prone, and hard to scale. Users submit a Telebirr/Bank reference number. The API then extracts or checks the transaction details, confirms whether the payment is real, and matches it against the expected receiver/account details.
